Join the DRR Processing Team

DRR Processing is a USDA-inspected poultry processing facility serving local farms, ranches, and food producers throughout Central Texas. We are looking for dependable, hardworking people to join our processing team.

This is a hands-on food production position. Team members work together throughout the poultry processing process, including handling birds, processing and cleaning poultry, packaging finished products, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and maintaining a clean and food-safe work environment.

What to Expect

  • Full-time employment

  • Early morning start times, typically beginning around 7:30 AM

  • Physically active work that requires standing for extended periods

  • A cool, wet production environment

  • Regular lifting, reaching, bending, and repetitive tasks

  • Working directly with raw poultry and poultry processing

  • A strong emphasis on cleanliness, food safety, teamwork, and following established procedures

  • Workdays that vary in length depending on the processing schedule and number of birds

Previous poultry processing, meat processing, food production, restaurant, agricultural, or similar experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train people who are dependable, willing to learn, and comfortable with the work.

Basic Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have reliable transportation to work, be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, and be dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

All employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation required for employment eligibility verification.

DRR Processing is a small team, so reliability matters. We depend on everyone being present, working safely, helping one another, and doing their part to produce a high-quality product for the farms and families we serve.
