DRR Processing Facility Tour Acknowledgment and Liability Waiver

Purpose of Tour

I understand that I am voluntarily participating in a tour of DRR Processing, a USDA-inspected poultry processing facility located at 5437 Ganske Rd., Burton, Texas.

Safety Compliance

I agree to follow all instructions provided by DRR Processing personnel and to remain with the tour group unless otherwise directed. I understand that failure to follow instructions may result in my removal from the tour.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that touring an active poultry processing facility involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

  • Slippery or wet walking surfaces

  • Agricultural and livestock-related hazards

  • Processing equipment and machinery

  • Refrigerated environments

  • Cleaning and sanitation chemicals

  • Trips, slips, falls, and other workplace hazards

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the tour.

Processing Activities Acknowledgment

I understand that the tour may include observation of live poultry handling, slaughter, evisceration, packaging, and other poultry processing activities. I acknowledge that these activities may be graphic or uncomfortable for some individuals and that I may discontinue my participation in the tour at any time.

Medical Condition

I certify that I am physically able to participate in the tour. I agree to notify DRR Processing personnel if I have any condition that may affect my safety or the safety of others during the tour.

Emergency Medical Assistance

In the event of an emergency, I authorize DRR Processing personnel to obtain medical assistance on my behalf if I am unable to do so. I understand that I am solely responsible for any resulting medical expenses.

Photography and Recording Restrictions

I understand that photography, video recording, audio recording, livestreaming, and similar forms of documentation are prohibited during the tour unless specifically authorized by DRR Processing management.

I agree not to capture, distribute, publish, or share images, recordings, or other documentation of the facility, equipment, operations, employees, customers, processing activities, or proprietary systems without prior written permission from DRR Processing.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless DRR Processing, their owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives from any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from my participation in the facility tour, except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

By submitting the form below, I acknowledge that:

  • I understand the nature of the facility and the activities that may be observed during the tour.

  • I voluntarily agree to participate in the tour.

  • I agree to comply with all safety instructions and facility requirements.
